Kris joined the business 10 years ago as an apprentice plater/welder, learning the trade from the ground up and gaining valuable hands-on experience on the shop floor. Since then, he has developed his skills across the business and recently made the move into our Sales & Estimating department, where he is now training as an Estimator.
While there are no plans to rush Dad, Chris James, into retirement just yet, the long-term future of the business will see the James brothers take the reins and continue building on nearly 80 years of family heritage.

Outside of work, Kris is a dedicated fitness enthusiast. However, since swapping steelwork for spreadsheets, he's finding it a little more challenging to hit his daily target of 10,000 steps!
